Welcome the New Joomla 3.0 Alpha Release

In July Joomla! Project has announced the new Joomla 3.0 Alpha version which will be the first step towards the future Joomla 3.0.0 release. Before specifying peculiarities of the new version, first we should mention that Joomla 3.0 Alpha is not suitable for production websites, it’s only for testing purposes now. But the main goal of Joomla 3.0 Alpha release is to allow advance testing of custom extensions so that extension developers can report any problems well before the final release. As for the essential features, they have been committed to version 3.0 relate to the new version 12 of the platform. Other features are expected to be committed before Joomla 3.0 Alpha-2 release.
