Charming Beauty of Stars Now in Design: Galaxy Type Posters

No one can deny that stars are one of the most beautiful things in our world. In ancient times they were not just a pleasure for the eye, but also a universal map for navigation in the sea. Some scientists claim that stars served as a navigation vade mecum not only for people, but also for animals – for example, for such clever mammals as dolphins. The important role of stars and nature is not finishing on sea navigation: it’s interesting that ancient Indian healers supposed the star light is sanative for the eyes, and recommended people with bad sight to watch stars. And these are just a few examples of the power of star influence on humanity.

So it’s not surprising that stars inspired artists throughout the history. Though now we are technologically intelligent, we are still charmed by the beauty of nature – and artists began to use our technologies to show this unbelievable beauty, to other not so sighted people. Yes, I’m talking about graphic design, which I suppose to be an art nurtured by information technology.

In regards to all the things I’ve mentioned above I want to present Galaxy Type Posters, created by graphic designer Romain Roger. They combine the beauty of stars with modern design techniques. So, let me now shut up – just take a look below.
