Trendy Logos of World Giant Football Clubs

On the topic of logo trends, we should realize that football logos are individual; they differentially define the team’s character setting various tones for active visual perception. Still, there are some conspicuous football logo trends we can single out and shortly summarize. Most of today’s football logos are very strong and bold; they have a better contrast, thicker strokes to look more fierce and aggressive. Some logos are over complicated being traced with armorial bearings and heraldic symbols. The others are simple in shapes, may incorporate team’s initials or just combine the theme with some lettering. Many logos introduce just two or three colors, a few have color gradients, and lots of stylized animals, birds, sports’ equipment within the image. The overall point is that there’s some classic that will live on forever, standing the test of time, going through decades of trends, and still being so strong. Below you can find the revealing variety that represents the more-or-less general design trends of football club logos.

I think “trendy” doesnt really fit in here. Most of these logos make me feel like timetraveling, seeing them here on designfloat 😉
Swansea logo is like a league of it’s own, since it doesnt look like the standard 08/15 club logo. Juventus and Tottenham are nice and have a more modern touch, the remaining logos look kinda outdated to me. More football clubs should have the balls to finally get a facelift… most of these logos are probably like 50 years old.
