June 12, 2011It’s insulting to see redjuice’s work shown in the same post as some of these bad DeviantArtists. What is even going on in the one titled “Japanese”, I don’t know. Those proportions are implausible, and not pleasingly so.
Moreover, “Japanese Birthday Dinner”, “Anime Punch”, “Japanese”, and “Nectareous Ninetales” are not even close to the style; rather, some resemble western cartoon art.
Please research further for your posts. I’m sure ten minutes of surfing the internet could garner you better results.

September 2, 2011Anon, um… you do know that the first anime EVER was stylized after Disney cartoons right? Megaman got his big eye and proportionality from a Japanese artist that loved Donald Duck.
Also, occasionally “great” art and “ok” art are both actually great. Art is in the eye of the beholder.
