Dive into the Art of Geometry: Polygonal Backgrounds
Ancient Greeks supposed geometrical figures to be the unrivaled representation of nature’s perfection. Well, now we understand that geometry is just an abstraction with a high level of logic, which shows some feature of the world around us, but not the world itself. However, geometry is very-very useful. Most probably you have thought about success in science and technology. It’s right, indeed geometrical influence is one of the most important on the fact we can enjoy all the technical comfort of modern civilization. However, the other important usage takes place in art, especially visual art. Yes, you could know that the basic knowledge of geometry is mandatory for a draftsman. But I mean another point of collision: using geometrical figures as an object of visual appearance.
And once the art became so exoteric and public – due to the abovementioned technical progress in particular – we can take it freely from the internet. The most common form is desktop background. So, generalizing all written above about geometry and backgrounds, I want to represent a digest of free polygonal backgrounds. And of course feel free to use it in your projects, once you are a designer. And if not – just beautify you desktop.
